Project Summary
Outpost joined CYAN LENS on location in Sedona, Arizona, providing cinematography and aerial video production support for a documentary centered around Untethered Aviation’s flight school program.
For our portfolio, we returned to the footage we captured and built a standalone 45-second piece around a different idea: what aviation can give back. The freedom, perspective, confidence, and sense of possibility that can come from getting behind the controls of an aircraft. Set against the scale of the Arizona desert, the piece uses ground and aerial cinematography to capture flying as something more than a skill to learn—it can change the way you see yourself and the world below.
The project also represents another side of Outpost: embedding into existing productions as a camera and specialty aerial unit, working within an established production while bringing our own visual perspective to the frame.
