What We Provide
Whether you need a drone operator, FPV pilot, camera support, or full aerial production coverage, our team brings the technical precision and creative perspective needed for high-end productions.
Traditional Drone Cinematography
Mavic (Single Operator)
The industry standard for projects that require speed and agility. Quick to set up and able to be operated alone, the Mavic is the tool of choice for most standard projects, offering a reliable combination of portability, efficiency, and high-quality aerial footage.
Inspire (Dual Operator)
For more complex and demanding projects, or shoots requiring different focal-length lenses, the Inspire platform has been battle-tested on high-end movie and television productions for almost a decade. With two operators, the pilot can focus on positioning the drone while the cam op is solely focused on framing the shot, a combination which allows for some truly epic shots.
FPV Drone Video Production
GoPro FPV
The standard option that works for most clients, GoPro FPV allows for smaller drones that can get closer to people. Our custom-built 5” open-prop drones cut through the wind and allow for high-speed outdoor chase sequences, while our 2.5” cinewhoops excel indoors, where the protected props make it safe to fly around people and objects.
Cinelift FPV
If a GoPro doesn’t cut it, then we can fly a cinema camera on an FPV drone as well. Our custom-built 7” FPV drone pairs perfectly with the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera G2, enabling multiple lenses and Blackmagic RAW (BRAW) support. Need to fly something larger? We’re happy to put together a custom build to fly whatever payload you need–built in-house for your specific needs.
How We Work
Full-Service Aerial Video Production
With in-house drone capabilities, Outpost can manage both ground and aerial production through one experienced team. This streamlined approach creates a more efficient production process while maintaining creative consistency from concept and planning through final delivery.
Our team provides the equipment, pilots, and production experience needed to bring aerial storytelling into your project without adding another vendor to manage.
Aerial Production Partner
We integrate seamlessly with existing production crews as a dedicated aerial unit or camera department partner. Whether you need a drone operator, DP, camera support, FPV pilot, or full aerial production coverage, our team brings the technical precision, creative vision, and reliability needed for high-end productions.
Featured Project
Karbon Bikes — Brand Film
Karbon builds bikes for real riders, and this brand film showcases their versatility across urban streets and rugged trails. Filmed in Boston, this drone video production project uses cinematic aerial footage to capture the contrast between city environments and open terrain. The result is a dynamic visual story that reflects Karbon’s design philosophy: strong, adaptable, and built for wherever the ride leads.
Featured Project
Ray Team Automotive — 144 Hours Branded Documentary
Shot throughout New England, 144 Hours follows the race to rebuild an engine in just six days before the Okemo Hill Climb. This drone video production project captured the pressure, precision, and determination behind every decision, from late nights in the garage to race day on the mountain. The final film helped Ray Team Automotive showcase their story to potential sponsors and partners.
